I wish I had DVD burning software. Hrm. Maybe I should put that on my list of 'stuff to buy' when I get paid. Tapes are a pain in the ass anymore.

D'you know if there are dvd players that can record off of tv/cable yet?

Yep, there are. Philips makes one. Dunno how good it is as I don't have one.

If you have a DVD player that will play burned CDs and VCDs, I can send you copies.

Yeah, all my dvd players play burned cd/vcds. even my crappy $10 walmart one that doesn't like to play my LOTR ExEd DVDs. *kicks it in the nuts*
