Damn it, shipman. Cap the January 7th episode of the Daily Show! I need my Lijah. Also, I hear there's a really good Lewis Black segment. Maybe. I forget.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that at the theater, there were loads of children. I don't know why I was surprised. Anyway, there was this one squirming in the seat next to me who kept talking really loudly and KICKING ME. *stabs child* My fault for going to see a kid's movie, I guess.

Hrm. Want to get the soundtrack. May order it from Amazon along with something else, 'cause of the free shipping. Though this silly person's review: I especially like the song they played when Tink was sick, every time I listen to it, it makes me chant "I do believe in faeries, I do, I do" - what a dork :-P That was the cheesiest part of the film.

Perving on Jeremy Sumpter. That's probably kind of wrong. But he's pretty. Take that you Harry Potter people! XD kidding...... I mean, I just bought one of these. How dorky and fangirly am I today?

Was going to have a good rant about something, but I'm tired. I feel old.

Need to go set a tape to record Breakfast with the Arts tomorrow morning.

I can't remember - isn't that terrible of me, although there are so many people I know that have parts in things over the last year, that I can't remember what they were in. I tend to remember when films are released, "Oh, I know somebody in that!"...

I know!! I especially loved the part where Wendy asked if her brothers could go to Never Never Land too. Peter gives this cute smile and immediately shifts to this "damn it" expression when they can't see him XD

They really didn't hold back from the sexual undertones of the book at all, did they? Those kids were perfect for it, too, just balanced between being innocent and... carnal, I guess. Couldn't help wondering what all the parents who took their kiddies were thinking... *g*
And the whole thing with Wendy and Hook was waaaaay Freudian too. Jason Isaacs is fabulous.

I must see it again too. I bought the book last year to adapt as a kid's play... had some interesting notes on the author! And it's not dorky, it's literature! ;)

gushed cuteness

Thought the same thing while watching the movie -- "Gotta get this soundtrack!" (And also, "Dammit, too many kids at 8:30 -- should have gone for the 11pm showing!")
