Hello!

My internet time is about to run out, but I thought I'd post a quick hello and let you know I was still alive and haven't fallen off a mountain (but I did trip on a rabbit hole...)

We've seen lots of really great places the last few days - Ithilien, Fangorn forest, the shore where Frodo stood and held the ring before he and Sam crossed. My favorite spot was at Deer Park Heights - there's this lake/pond where they shot the scene of the Rohans leaves for Helm's Deep. Very cool.

Okay. I will update sometime again before I return home. heh. We're taking a tour of the Pelennor Fields (spelling...) this afternoon. Ta!

Sadly not as much fun as getting a postcard with actual overseas stamp and postmark -- but a reasonable trade. (And I've done the same myself, with my Bahamas cards that I didn't mail till after returning from the trip.) Care for a postcard from Dallas in return?
