18 more days until NZ!! Yipes.. didn't realize it was coming up that quick. I'm not ready! ;_; Wait. Yes I am! :D
As much as I'm anticipating my trip, I'm also really nervous about it. I haven't done nearly all the things I need to before I go and.. gah.. it's coming up so fast. I'm sure it'll all be gravy once I finally get there but I'm like super-anal-stressed girl while traveling so I might give myself an ulcer :-P
Later this afternoon I'm gong to pick mom up at the airport. She arrived in NYC last night from Taiwan, but had to stay overnight because of some schedule issue when she bought her tickets. Anyway. Yay! My mom's coming home! ^_^

My first post: (April 19th, 2001) "Um, so this is my new live journal. I already have a blog, but everyone has one of these now, so...yeah." Followed by two more stupid posts about having an LJ and one about "Another Thursday Down the Drain"
Two years ago: (Nov. 2, 2001) I was being a big dork and hacking my AIM profile, being lazy as usual, and shopping. Heh. Got a pair of leather gloves (which I ended up not being able to wear) and CDs - Econoline Crush, Jude, Four Star Mary, and THC. Oh, and I bought myself a paid account and posted Anita Blake icons.
18 months ago: (May 2, 2002) Posted my tarot reading fromth night before, arrived an hour early for work. Actually, that whole day was crap. I forgot my Terps tickets, my camera, CD player, keys... it was a mess. This was also the semester I spent hours and hours in the painting studio only to get a C. New Klez variant hit the net so there was a big post about that. Oh yes, and at the Terps show I saw the cute dancer boy.
One year ago: (Nov. 2, 2002) Wrote about the drunk idiot from the night before. Someone from Schenectady was on an MTV special about Britney Spears - oh and also post about Britney's animal abuse. Heh. Still hating school. Still ordering foo from town. Watched "Tenth Kingdom" withtrippininabox
Six months ago: (May 2, 2003) Huge rant about fanart v. original copyright protection. I was winding down my senior year and had just attended my last Eta Kau Pi meeting. Oh yes.. and saw X-Men 2!
Three months ago: (Aug. 2, 2003) Went to Lake George with my mom. I hadn't bought my tickets for NZ yet.
One month ago: (Oct. 2, 2003) Spent the day at my mom's office waiting to catch a train to Poughkeepsie to visittrippininabox at Marist. Posted some Alias news links. The Tomination plot started...
Yesterday: (Nov. 1, 2003) Banned an idiot from the #96 forums. Had a crap day at home and work. Posted the ljmaps meme. Wrote my RP post finally. Had computer issues.
Wow.. what a fairly boring LJ.
I'm off to go make french toast and.. hm.. probably should fold the laundry I washed like two days ago.
