amezrian addendum to that last post about the brilliance that is my father's laziness...
I'm heading downstairs to watch Alias and there is an empty bowl on the floor with two grapes on the carpet. I'm thinking "great, he ate them and left the bowl on the floor. lovely." Getting a bit closer, I see the rest of the cluster of grapes under the table. [face palm] He must have left the bowl on the floor and the old dog went and got them. So I clean up the mess and go downstairs. I ask him if he left a bowl of grapes on the floor. He, of course, says he didn't. I say, well, the bowl is on the floor and so were the grapes. He shrugs, goes back to his e-mail and says that it must have been Minnie. Yes.. my 13 year old, 10lb lhasa got on the coffe table, dragged the heavy ceramic bowl off said table, set it upright next to the couch and then dragged the grapes out. ::rolls eyes:: What am I, stupid?
