WW vs Underworld/Sony? Penny Arcade has an opinion on that.
Coolest Lord of the Rings figurines I've seen are the ones created by Play Along toys. The detail is extremely impressive for such a small figure (3" scale) - the Legolas special issue has a sword in scabbard, twin knives, bow with seperate arrow, quiver full of arrows, and the cloak is independant of the figure. 6 points of articulation. KBToys will have the full line. I'm thinking about the Fellowship set that comes out mid-December.
Art Asylum also makes Marvel Minimates. How could you not love these? 2" tall with 14 points of articulation. At Amazon there is a sets of 5, with two versions of Wolvie.
