I did just pick up the Underwold soundtrack (for the new Bowie, the Danny Lohner scoring, and the new Maynard songs/A Perfect Circle creations) the other day on a whim, and I'm curious about the movie. Part of me thinks it will be terrible, while the other thinks it will be fantastic. What's it all about?

oooh.. I should go pick that up :) Forgot it was out already. Shall have to make a run to target ^_^

Basically, it's vampires vs. werewolves. And the death-dealer/vampire Selene (Kate Beckinsale) falls for Michael (Scott Speedman) who she thinks is a human, but turns out to be a werewolf. Wackiness and angst ensues.

I have no idea what Kill Bill is. Think I want to see all the others, though. (But maybe I should finally get around to seeing Desperado before the Mexico flick -- isn't it a sequel?)

Yeah... I'm not exactly sure what "Kill Bill" is besides a martial arts movie directed by Quentin Tarentino that was nearly 3 hours long so he split into two films....

"Once Upon a Time..." is the third in the trilogy. "Mariachi" and "Desperado" before it :)

Hmm -- so basically I need to see a couple of Antonio Banderas movies (assuming he's in the first one as well). Ah, such a hardship!

Ah, damn. Is it at all worth seeing? Is it necessary viewing for the later films?

Actually, I have only seen parts of "Desperado" and at the time it wasn't really my type of movie. So can't really say ^_^** I only am interested in "Once Upon a Time.." because looks like a good, brainless, action movie... and, you know, the Depp factor.
