Mom went to go check their joint e-mail account and either the bastard is up to something or he really just doesn't care anymore. There were three correspondences with Sandy (yes, she has a name now) and they were all apparently travel arrangements from FL to NYC. There was one e-mail from her that gave her daughter's address in Manhattan, so this is presumably the reason she's making the trip. Another e-mail from my father was a hotel reservation he made for her. However, the hotel he picked was in Flushing, which is where he is renting an apartment. One can argue that Flushing hotels would be cheaper than anything in Manhattan, which is true, but this woman has money and i doubt it would make a huge difference to her. Two possibilities: he's meeting her and/or he's paying for the hotel.
Dates for her flights are August 14 - August 19, which is this coming week. My mother has been nagging my father to go check on the Volvo which he dumped at some mechanic's to be repaired about.. oh... a year ago. So today out of the blue he said he's going to Tannersville (nearly a 2 hour drive) next weekend to go check on it. Since we don't have the mechanic's phone number, it's nearly impossible to confirm if he will actually be there. It's possible he won't come back and he'll say that he was checking on the car when in fact he was hooking up with hisex-ho ex-girl. We shall see.
