Another lazy day
Jul. 22nd, 2003 01:47 pmFirst thing, new friends! Hello to
alanafish and
_martha_
Roofers. Bloody. Fecking. Annoying. Also, they left a piece hanging on the backside of the house and I hope they remember to fix/remove it before they leave and call the job done >_< Speaking of annoying, my paternal grandfather called this morning to bitch about how I haven't found a job yet, how my father works so hard, and how my brotheris fat and needs to lose weight and stop eating. It was a 10 minutes call with him yelling and me holding the phoen away from my ear, mumbling at appropriate intervals. I hate my relatives.
Pre-Order Firefly: Complete Series on DVD from Amazon!
I want this watch so. bad. This one, even more. Love this one as well. Does anyone know a website(s) that features cuff watches like these?
The whole Roman/Ceasar arc in Xena was always confusing to me, but whatever. Did have fangirly moments seeing David Franklin as Brutus, Karl Urban as Caesar, and Kevin Smith (RIP) as Ares. Also - Hudson Leick ^_^ She is my girl crush. Tomorrow should be "Fallen Angel," which I have not seen and have been wanting to for the awesome creature effects they did to make Hudson look like a demon/gargoyle. I'm still secretly hoping for a live action Gargoyles movie.
Still watching ticket prices to make sure they dates I want are still available at a decent price. They're staying at the $1400-$1900 range for now and hopefully won't change too much in the next week or two. Nov 23 - Dec 23 still look like the best dates. For $1520, I can fly American to O'Hare and LAX. This is a plus, since there is so much extra leg room - would definitely be nice pre-14 hour flight to NZ -_-;; No idea how much leg room there is on Air New Zealand planes. Hoping it's comfortable at least and not too compact.
Walter "Matt" Jefferies, the art director who designed the original Enterprise vessel for the first Star Trek series has died, the official website of the sci-fi series has announced.
