Weird day..

I was flipping through the channels and stopped on "Diabolique." Never seen the movie, but I saw one of the actors at the table and immediately did a double-take. JJ Abrams. Thought maybe I was out of it, and nah, JJ's not an actor. Apparently he does tiny, tiny roles and that was him.

In other weird news, every time I've checked my e-mail today, the inbox has had 4 new messages. Checked it again and there were 4 in the inbox and 3 in bulk. So yes, 7. My yahoo mailbox is also 47% full.

bayliss! I got the braclets today ^_^ Thank you! Theyaresoawesome! I'm gonna try to get my printer working in the next week, so go ahead and pick out a print or two you'd like :)

The roofers left around noon. I have no idea if they plan on coming back since it was raining before. It's all sunny and stuff now.

It's rumored that Orlando Bloom might be cast as Gambit in X3. Meh. I'd still rather have Chris Potter. In any case, I made a quick and dirty manip:



Off to go let the dogs out and clean the pool.

Chris Potter would be awesome for the voice.....but I think he may be too old for the role, esp if they want to cast remy younger and have it fubar up the rouge/iceman/wolvie thing thats going on. ooooohhh........the angst! :)

oooh.. but what if they throw in older craddle-robbing Gambit (though, Rogue should be over 18 by then, so...) to fubar the Rogue/Iceman/wolvie thing because now there are three boys after her and Gambit could make Wolvie jealous in then, "damn, I'm not much older than him [in theory]" way.

hmm. orli's pretty yes. but in the going along with we want to make Logan jealous, and just the fact that i think he would be great as Gambit, Matthew MacConehey(sp?). was talking this over the other day with a friend. but then i don't think i've ever seen a picture of Chris Potter, so i don't know about him...

Hmmm. I dunno. Orli looks quite good as Gambit in that manip, but I guess I imagine Remy as a little older, for some reason... I love Chris Potter, but I don't think he'd cut it for the movie version. Matthew McConaughey?? Can't see it. Gambit is dark and lithe and sneaky (so in that respect, Orli works at least!) and Matthew is big and blond and butch.

Then again - I would never have picked Hugh baby for Wolverine, and he worked amazingly well, so what do I know?!

*nods* I've always thought Remy should be older. I think Chris Potter will always be Gambit to me because of the Fox cartoon ^_^ Christian Bale maybe?

eh... Orlando as Gambit?? I'm not liking that at all. He can hardly do his own British accent... (no offence to him... really, I know he's a Brit and all, but I don't like the way it sounds..) I don't know if he'd have a very good time with the cajun/french thing. I just don't think he'd do OK in that role. Sorry *runs from the angry mob with pitchforks and torches*

I know.. I think maybe visually it works, but I don't think he could pull off the accent. His own accent is so messed up from the extensive time in NZ, hanging out with Americans, Scots, and Irish dialog coaching for "Ned Kelly". Poor boy :-P

I'd much rather see Chris Potter in the role or maybe even Christian Bale. ^___^

I don't watch that show... I don't really watch too much TV anymore. Just certain shows, if those.

I don't really like that fuy, he's kind of strange... and... creepy.

But, that's my opinion and I respect yours ^^

Just a little bit. I mean, when I watched Velvet Goldmine, he was embarrassing me with that make-up and... y'know.

But I'm interested in who they chose for Gambit, but at the same time, I don't want to get my hopes up about ANYONE, so *shrugs* I mean, look how the casting of Remus Lupin turned out...
