If I were to sell my books, magazines, and comics, would anyone buy them or know someone who would? I have a large stock of scifi magazines that I'm looking to sell (because I'm jobless..) and just seeing if there is an interest. Likely sub-cover price plus shipping.

Comics are likely doubles of X-Men & Buffy series (I haven't gone through the inventory yet). Books to include Star Trek, X-Files, maybe Buffy, and others. I have a few newspaper type things with scifi articles and one issue of Parade featureing Lucy Lawless. May have a few collectible items (merchandise & signed items) kicking around too. And with the loads of taped video I have, looking to unload those too. Complete seasons of Buffy, Angel, various others. Tapes include commercials and are sorta iffy quality. Home taped VHS, what do you expect :-P

So.. anyone interested? If not, I might try to throw stuff on eBay or send 'em packing to the library (who might just throw most of it out). Take the survey below please :)

If I were into any of those fandoms, I'd be interested...would communities in those fandoms be interested in an advertisement maybe? If not, I'd go with eBay...

I'd rather my things go to people I know, but if stuff doesn't sell, I'm probably moving it to eBay.

One thing I do recommend before putting stuff on eBay is looking for the same item and seeing A) if there's already twenty of them currently available and B) what it seems to be going for. Gives you a good idea of what the going price is (or rather, what your Buy it Now! price should be, if you want to do one) -- I did that for all the comics I sold and in a few cases realized that it just wasn't worth putting that particular set up for auction. (And I'm about to do that again checking on whether I could get enough for a few still-boxed action figures I have to be worth putting them up.)
