Job search & portfolios
Apr. 9th, 2003 04:50 pmIt sucks looking for a job. V. stressful. The thought has crossed my mind to move to NZ and find a job there. However, residency visas are kinda of a bitch to apply for. They've listed graphic design in their Occupational Shortage List, which may make it a bit easier to get a job there.
Weta Workshop seems to be open to resumes and portfolios, so I think I'm going to try to get that together (if not this week, then during the break). Need to take some nice pictures of my sculpture work. The Shadow Packaging project is a must have. I'm going to have to look for some portfolios while I'm at home. Might just go the binder-plastic sleeve route for sake of shipping. The Itoya Art Profolio Presentation/Display Books are looking kinda good.
