Forgot about the removal of the chip. I guess this is going to be the Giles/Spike smackdown episode.
Woohoo! More flashback to NYC! That Slayer was cool.. but who brings their kid with them on patrol? I never knew her name was Nikki.
EyE2eYe18: soooo spike's wearing a womans jacket
queenmaabus: yup, he is. :-)
Scifi 1701D: yeah,,,,
EyE2eYe18: oh...ok
Scifi 1701D: Unless she's wearing a man's coat
EyE2eYe18: don't defend him scifi. he's a crossdresser
queenmaabus: but a cute one...
queenmaabus: :-)
Scifi 1701D: :-(
Robin? Yeah, Spike either needs to kick his ass or.. no, he just needs to kick his ass. Though, yes, I understand that Spike killed his mother, but still -- Buffy's okayed him and hell, Spike's saved him several times.
Eeee! Giles in the new high school! Complaining about the new library! LMAO! I love Giles ^_^
Aw, poor Robin trying to understand the whole soul/chip/trigger thing.
Where's Faith? Bad writing and timing. Pfft.
The stone that Willow liquifies and has to go through his "optic nerve"? Yeah, so very X-Files oil cancer-y.
Dude. Never again should... well, okay, I like William. But, the hair?? He needs the curly, dorky hait back. And.. wasn't William dorkier?
Yes... William should definitly have been dorkier. But, yay! Juliet Landau! I've missed Dru. Oh, dear, Spike wants to sire his mother! That's sick and twisted in a way.
Of course, Giles puts it all together with Wood's mother & Spike, but totally gets blind-sided by the "greater good" speech. Having been visited by the First, I don't think Wood's is the authority on.. well, stuff. Giles is dumb.
Wood is freaked out. Downloading "Early One Morning" to play in iTunes so he can beat the crap out of Spike? Bad idea. First of all, it's the "vicious killer" trigger and second, Wood was getting his ass handed to him by a vamp in the alley. I don't believe that he would be able to take him out that easily, especially since Buffy seems a bit scared of Trigger!Spike.
Poor William. He turns his mom and she throws it back in his face and leaves him. Somehow I think Dru would get along with mom better. And now we know that the trigger's power is the anger and hurt that his mother inflicted on him with that parting speech. Bitch.
Buffy's slow, man. Very, very slow.
That was a really nice, touching in-you-face, "my mother loved me and your didn't love you" speech from Spike. It's always nice to learn something new about a character, even if it's a plot device. However, no matter how much I liked Wood or how much I er... tolerated Good!Spike, Killer!Spike rules.
Okay, so we got faked out. Spike didn't kill Wood, I guess to prove that he has free will and chose to spare him. Was sort of -- but not really -- surprised when Buffy told both of the "guys in charge" that she's learned who's expendable and who's not. Wood's on that list and I suspect Giles is as well. At least General Buffy's getting her act together. I do respect that she's got a dirty job that no one else will have to do.
The whole bringing Faith over? Very. Poorly. Scheduled. *sigh*
"Knowledge comes from crafted pages and bindings, Buffy, not 1's and 0's." - Giles
"The mission is what matters." - Buffy (also, Nikki Wood)
EyE2eYe18: people come inside me and i never know how:-)
