And this is what I wrote back:
This is the e-mail address associated with my account and the e-mail address I have been using to correspond with your company about this problem.
If you are referring to the original purchaser of the gift, then her name is ******** and her e-mail is *******@***.***
I contacted you because this was a gift item purchased for me by ******* - but your company shipped me the wrong item. All I would like to know is if the item has been shipped or if it is still on order. As it is being shipped to MY address (***************************), it only seems reasonable to me that you would be able to tell me if the replacement item has been shipped.
If this is still not acceptable, then I will contact ******* and see if she has recieved an e-mail from your company.
Regards,
Cynthia Lin
Yeah, I was probably a little bitchier and angrier than necessary.. but wtf?? You can't give me a yes, it's been shipped? That is a security risk to no one. Even the freakin' bank was able to give me more information about my brother's account when I had to take care of his over-draw.
Blergh.

Amazon.com... And You're Done
Done. Well, that's one way of putting it. *snerk*
Assuming they are going to send me a note when they ship it, I'll forward it on to you as soon as they send it.
*eats Amazon.com in a fit of frustration*
