Joanne and I just bought tickets for the Sheryl Crow/Michelle Branch concert at Pepsi Arena next week. Girl who lives next door didn't need the two extra tickets, so she was selling them for $45 each. The tickets are really sweet floor seats - section 3, row Q. We're talking steps from the stage! Definitely bringing a camera of some sorts with me. My mom is coming to get us on Saturday, then drop us off at Pepsi. She'll pick us up afterwards. This is so fun! I am actually being active and stuff! ^_^

In other news, I have been really thinking about this Farscape Convention Creation Entertainment is hosting in Brooklyn. It's November 29-30th, which is not a problem, but the $279 gold ticket and $169/night Marriot seriously is. Oz wants to go, and Jake will too, if he has the money. I would really love to go to a huge con like this, especially with Gold Ticket Seating, as it includes the Cocktail Party Saturday Night, with possible drop-bys from the guests. It's just the cost.. probably gonna end up costing $600, so I have to really think about it...

I know there are a few people out there who are not happy with Creation. Care to tell me why? It might be the deciding factor...

Creation does horrible cons. at least the one in Orlando was. I went to a Herc/Xena one in 96 or so. I can't quite remember. The place where it was held was terrible, not nearly enough room for everyone there, as well as being an incredible distance from the hotel itself. Things didn't start on time, and I just remember thinking that they really should have been able to plan it better.

The Brooklyn con is *in* the Marriott hotel, so that shouldn't be a problem. Reserved a hotel for the con, and will wait to hear about the guests before I guy a ticket. My biggest fear is that I will go and the guests won't be there because they didn't even know they were supposed to be. Which, apparently, has happened.

So I'm told.. but who knows? Could be one of those nasty urban legends.
