Okay, so... "Lagrimas." First off, the previews had me a little miffed because Sara's true love is not supposed to be Death (Jeffrey Donovan). Do we all remember a sweet Irish hottie by the name of Conchobar?! Feh. (So, yes, I was happy that he died. Glee.)
A slap in the face to all Sara/Conchobar 'shippers: playing Grant Lee Buffalo's "Orpheus" (I think it was Orpheus..) during that... that... scene! Grant Lee Phillips was the singing voice of Conchobar. Even worse was the use of Grant Lee's original song "Sara," which was written for the S/C pairing. I demand Kim DeLury return to the show! ::stamps feet:: What? Yes, of course that'll work.
However... I could deal with it because of all the lovely Gabriel screentime. Who now has a girlfriend. It's you isn't it? *g*
Once again, ladies and gentlemen, Ian is a psycho. And Irons is just.. weird.
Edit: ::smacks:: for consistently spelling the main character's name wrong. I'm usually not so dense. I've fixed it...
Adding to the geekiness of my day: I e-mailed Corin Nemec... and got a reply from his assistant.

Grant Lee Buffalo and My Boyfriend
Date: 2002-07-16 07:11 am (UTC)However, they seem to be one with the Asians, and y'know..more of our people on screen.
Secondly, Gabriel's OffScreenPractice Girlfriend (Lex was shocked and appalled on my behalf, even though I think it's all terribly amusing. She said, "She better be Asian, dammit.") now has to follow the Gun Theory -- when you introduce a gun at the beginning of the story, by the end of the story, that gun better have gone off. So...we need to see OPG, or have her go off. I'm not picky.

Date: 2002-07-16 08:35 am (UTC)I'm sticking to that storyline.
