WHERE'S MY DAMN CLOAK?!

This is the last time I'm trusting someone who is supposed to be a dependable craftsperson. Who was recommended by someone who is, by reputation, very dependable in the area of commissions.

I think at this point and time I have a right to be pissy. It's been 5 months. I was told that the cloak was done and as soon as I sent payment, the cloak would be sent to me. E-mails were generally replied to in about a week. Payment was accepted in mere hours. And I have not had one reply to the three e-mails I have sent since then. The person who recommended her has replied to me, but I don't expect that she has much control over the situation, so I am thankful that she has not just blown me off.

...but I think I've been pretty understanding and patient so far, don't you? It's almost July. Ju-friggin-ly. I commissioned the thing in February. I paid for it in May because she said it was done. She wanted to take some pictures to show me, but said I would have to wait for her to get a camera. Gods only know how long that would have been. So I told her, no, that's okay, I trust that she did a great job, just send it.

Argh. Just. Argh.

It seriously sounds like she's jerking you around, and you have been MORE than understanding, and -MORE- than patient with that wench.

If I were you, I'd start with the threatening of recourse to the law if she doesn't make with the cloak-sending PDQ...

Yeah, I'm starting to think that way, even though I've been assured that she wouldn't do that. I don't know if that makes me stupid or what... but I'm willing to wait it out a *little* bit longer.

I'm sorry... I don't understand why she hasn't mailed it yet. I talked to her about it last night. it's been done for a long while. She did just start a new job that has insane hours... and apparently she told me that she hasn't been checking her email at all. that being said though, she really should have mailed it before now, or apprised you of the situation. :\

I know. And it shouldn't be your fault. Like I said, it was really nice of you to reply to my e-mail and check up on it for me, especially since you were my only other hope of contacting her. I understand that life gets in the way, but... I dunno. I would like to have been told what was going on.

That said, I'm glad she has a new job. :)
