Okay, this is really starting to piss me off. And I should be in bed, but...
Commisioned a cloak from this girl - who came highly recommended by Aimee (it was one of her friends, I think) so I was like, hey sounds like a good deal. This was back in February. Four months and $160 later... I have nothing. Nada. Zip. Squat. The last e-mail I recieved was the PayPal notification on May 15th that said she accepted the payment. That's.. nice. But where's my frelling cloak?! I e-mailed her on Sunday and haven't recieved a reply. She was mighty quick on the cash uptake, though. It was accepted less than a day after I sent it.
Sent her the money because she said that it was done and ready to be sent. Obviously, it hasn't been sent. She has a history of being slow, and I let it slid because life just sucks that way sometimes, but this is getting really ridiclous. The pay-first-get-item-after ideal protects the seller, but what about the trusting buyer? Pfft. I think I just got screwed out of $160, which I as a poor college student could really use. Instead, I decided to support a poor, jobless, college grad. Damn it.
I'm about ready to track her down and virtually beat the thing out of her, or at least get my money back. I even e-mailed Aimee asking her if she knew if the girl was okay or not. I don't want to be bad-mouthing her if she was in real trouble. No reply to that yet. I'm giving another week for a reply before I do something.. not so nice.
