Hair is done.

It was a bit sloppy, but still, I'm starting to like it. I was a little unsure - it's a hell of a lot brighter than I was going for, but after 3 hours at Brooklyn Boy, I was all ready to go. The reactions have been positive so far... so I'll go with it.

What color? If you've seen Alias, think the red wig that Syd had on in the pilot. If not.. well, Ronald McDonald will do. Good thing I went with highlights and not a full dye job, huh?

My mom is gonna flip. Heh.

Hopefully the ARTec shampoo will tone the color down. A lot.

Now, see, that's the colour that I actually wanted. But no, my hair isn't having that, and it's currently an unexpected dark coppery colour. Bah! Shall have to try again.....

(and if it makes you feel better, mine generally tones down pretty fast)

Have you tried color depositing shampoo? I use red clover by ARTec and it works great for keeping the red *months* after it was colored.
