amezriI actually had a fun day! I skipped ET Intell. But I did actually go to the Fine Arts building and get my canvases stretches. Whee! Okay, it actually sucked. I almost stapled my hand twice. And then I ran out of gesso.. but I digress. Two canvases are done! Three more to go...
Went to Kara and Jeff's house for dinner. She made corned beef and cabbage. Tastey *g* Not that I thought I wouldn't like it... just that it was nice to have food that actually tasted like something, as opposed to the crap we get served in the dining hall. I met a whole bunch of people - Jeff's twin, Mike; his younger brother Jon; Jon's gf, Liz; Liz's brother Ben; and Alicia. Wow, lots of people with interesting stories... after dinner we went bowling.
Okay, I have not bowled in forever and I mean since like elementary school when I was on the after school bowling team. Anyway, the first game I did okay. Bowled a 78. Not too bad. The second game just sucked so much ass. First frame a hit 1 pin... then I got no pins for three frames and somehow by the 10th frame I wound up with a 48. *gah* But it was still fun. ^_^ Kara & Jeff came to look at my room afterwards. Kristin yelled at me because she didn't know where I was -_-;; I had told her about dinner, but I guess she didn't expect me to be out that late. Anyway, they came up, scoped out the suite and we said goodnight. Somehow I fuond myself saying yes to going to church with them on Sunday. It's non-denomiational, so that's kinda cool. I dig the non-denominational Christians. Kara is dancing and she wants me to come and watch her make a spectacle of herself *g* So.. I said yes. They are coming to pick me up on Sunday at 8:30 am.
Geez, I am just all sort of "let's go!" lately. What is the deal?
Oh yes. B-day partay for Jen tomorrow night. Should be... interesting.
