What a frelling crappy day

amezriI should've known that today was going to be crap. I woke up this morning to the sounds of a rumbling thunderstorm and jumped out of bed to turn off my 'puter before the power went out or something worse happened.
Then I turned it on to check my e-mail and everything was fine for a bit.. until my dad had "cooked" lunch and called everyone to the table where things quickly became a one-sided game of 20 questions. More thunderstorm warnings, so my computer gets turned off for the second time today.
Well, of course, then my dad wanted to go online and play mahjong, so it's back on again. I check on him an hour later and tell him to turn it off 'cause it's going to rain and thunder soon. He reluctantly does.
So, get this, 5 minutes later it starts raining and hailing. I'm talking nickel-sized chunks of ice, though I found a couple about the size of a quarter. Also, eww, we found a tick on my puppy dog's eye :o( We got it off and are taking her to the vet tomorrow.
Now, since there's nothing else my dad wants to do, it's back online to play freakin' mahjong again. What's that now, three times the computer's been turned on today? ::fumes:: I really hate that and the Beast apparently does, too because it flipped and performed some kind of Exception OD error. Except my dad was telling me it was a "special OD." Ha, yeah, a special OD. What the frell is that? The screen went black except for the start button and the system locked up.
!!!!ARGH!!!!
I hate this stupid thing. It was perfectly (well, not perfectly) fine at school then I bring it back and it all goes down the crapper. I'd better do my back-ups real soon. At this rate, the Beast is going to be completely frelled by the end of June. If that happens, I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown and cry. A lot.
I'm trying to reinstall IE 5.5 right now, but the download rate is crawling. Gods, I hate dial-up. Know what I hate more? That my dad doesn't even seem to care that he probably just made my computer FUBAR. Dink.
