Futhermucker. I ordered "Boa Vs. Python" three weeks ago and still haven't gotten it. Yesterday I e-mailed the seller and was told that some one hacked into their account on Memorial Day and so they lost all their orders from May. Dude. WTF?! The guy then advises me to contact Amazon.com for a refund. *fumes*
My laptop still hasn't shipped and the guy is starting to piss me off. First, I paid the asshole with Paypal. Then he tells me there's a problem with his account and he refunds my money, asking if there was another way I could send it to him. Fine. We agree on StormPay, but neither one of us pays attention to the fees - which are
ridiculous. I was fine with it and even offered to cover half the StormPay fees on his end because I just want my gorram laptop. Today he asked if I wanted to reverse that transaction and just pay him with Paypal on his business account. OMGFINE. I don't know if I'm getting my transaction fee back but whatthefuckever. So he reverses that and I send him the money through Paypal again. Except this time I mark it as an eBay auction item and tag it with the eBay item number. Fucker. As it stands, I have a $500 charge on my Visa, and $800 set to come out of my checking because the first transaction is still on hold at Paypal before I can send the money back and StormPay won't put the money back on the card, so I have to transfer
that to my bank account. I've just been able to start a transfer to my account fromthe first Paypal thing, but that'll take almost a week. ARGH.
OMG. I need a hug. And a good scream. Is all this crap happening to me because I won those Batman passes? If so, I really did need them that badly, dear Universe. Or have a been a bad person? Tell me.
In happier news...
via the
fireflyfans.net forum: We may not have to wait until September 30th for the release. In fact, a reps at Universal are apparently kicking themselves for having pushed it back at all. He's quoted saying,
"All of us (Meaning the Distribution folk at 'Versal) really wish we'd just gone ahead and premiered it in May. It's working out as well as "Star Wars" and if we'd started in May, it would have run all summer." Dude. We didn't call it the Big Damn Movie for nothing.
A funny (and slashy) interview with
Paul McGillion from Cult Times.
There are
Stargate Atlantis comic books! *wants* (Yes, I bought one. Shopping makes me feel better.)
And now, I'm going to make some SleazyMac and watch
Cupid before it's time for bed. Opening the store tomorrow. Argh.
