While searching for some Buffy DVD answer, I stumbled on these weird collections: The Slayer Collection (details here). As the reviewer points out... no one here is a Slayer except Faith. So. Um. Whatever. They're UK releases anyway, but still. Let me pick at the sleeve art for a moment. Buffy looks really daggy, except maybe on the Faith collection. Could they have picked a more unflattering Faith image? Or a wankier Spike image? It doesn't look like Spike, it looks like James Marsters: PseudoRockStar. At what point and time on the show di Spike ever dress like that? Never. Season 2, please.

SciFi admits it lied about the Shyamalan unauthorized biography. Uhm. Why did they have to admit anything? It's pretty damn obvious that it was a hoax from the beginning. A) Blair Witch style B) If it was really unauthorized, they'd have been sued before it made it to commercials. At some point NBC Universal bought SciFi, so of course now they're all freaking out because, ohemgee, SciFi LIEDED! *facepalm* Get over it.

Dear DVD-ROM,

I HATE YOU. Just read the frelling DVD. Why can you read regular CDs but not DVDs? It's not that you won't read them, you won't even recognize that there's a damn disk. If you make that FRELLING sound one more time, I'm going to yank you out of the bay and throw you out a window.

Edit: Basically my drive is frelled and i need to buy a new one. Suspected this a while ago but was too lazy and broke. I'm still on the verge of broke, but it's frustrating.
