x-men changes...

What the flying frell happened to Uncanny X-Men? Most of the issues from 411 - 420 look like weird Japanese artwork. Have a look.

Not that I don't like the style - I do. It's just sort of weird to see these characters you've known change in ways.. you didn't really want. It's visually unsettling. Uncanny 417 looks like box art for GoGaiGar for cryin' out loud. Though, the Dominant Species arc looks interesting. Will perhaps look into picking it up.

Indeed-y do. Looking forward to good recordings of "Key" (hopefully the same track by The Devics) and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." The rest are redunant as either a) I have the albums already or b) I don't remember them or care. Heh. Also.. who is Rob dunca? I thought Rob Kral took over for Chris Beck? Or.. did Rob Kral work on Angel. Now I'm confused.

Note to self: Alan Cumming hosts SNL on the rerun tonight at 5pm on Comedy Central.

dlm 1.11, 1.12

Today was rather unevenful. Sat around the house.

Watched Dead Like me 1.11 & 1.12 - loved "The Bicycle Thief" (1.11). "Nighthawks" (1.12) was the obligatory clip show that all tv series have when they're running short on shooting days or have blown their budget. But it was still good. I liked the references to the Edward Hopper painting of the same name. The editing on this show kicks.

Tomorrow I have to call Time Warner and find out about the new Road Runner plan and get our email account info. Hrm. Wonder if eye2eye18 can find out for me. Heh. Anyway, once I get that info, I can kiss stupid AOL mail goodbye.

Taped Alan Cumming's SNL episode while we were out, so 'll probably watch that in a bit. Wheee! Luff Alan.
