Back in Oneonta. The weekend at home was trying. I was so close to just killing him. Yeah.

Yesterday, the front roof started leaking, so I tell him, foolishly expecting that he's actually going to do something about it. Instead, he stands there for a while and goes to get a towel. Uh.. towel? His great plan was to just set the towel on the hardwood floor and let the water soak in. WTF?! Being more than slightly annoyed, I get some foil to make a little channel for the water dripping onto the windowsill to flow into the bucket on the floor. All the while I'm standing there asking him what the hell he thinks a towel is going to do and he says, "Well, I don't care. It's not my house anyway." ... I had it then. I said, "You don't have to be so bitchy," expecting to bait him into a shouting match. Instead he says, "I don't?" Fuck that. I go get me mom so we can go out to take care of some things and shout really loudly so he could hear, "Let's go. Someone's got a stick up his ass." And we left.

Then today, he's interrogating me about Spring Break. I tell him I'm going to LA Feb 27-Mar 1 to visit the Alias set. Know what he says? Of course not, because no normal person would respond to that news with, "What? Cindy, you have to change your schedule!" Yeah, right. Let me call up JJ and tell him I can't meet him that day because my father says I have to change my schedule. That'll work.

GLARGH. ::beats him::

In brighter news... new Alias tonight. w00t! Can't wait.

And in other news:

some people have all the luck )

'kay. Think I shall go finish unpacking and stuff now.

from TOR.net:

Sean Bean was very recently on the Jonathan Ross radio programme on UK's BBC2 and mentioned that his next project may be Troy in the part of the Greek hero Odysseus. Troy already has Orlando Bloom cast in the role of Paris.

How Good is Gollum's Animation?
My husband has a 65% hearing loss in both ears, wears hearing aids, and does not use sign language. Instead, he reads lips. Cartoon characters and all CGI characters have always frustrated him because he has never been able to read their lips. .... Until Gollum. After we saw the movie the first time, my husband said, "I have never been able to read a CGI character's lips before. Gollum's were exactly as if he were a human being." I cannot think of higher praise for all the people involved in creating Gollum than to tell them that a hearing impaired person was able to follow Gollum's speech exactly, just by lip-reading. Kudos to the dedication of the Weta staff! "

I was ordering supplies for a gift package I'm working on.. and I entered the wrong credit card number >_< Instead of a "9" I put an "8." Glargh. Just have to wait for them to e-mail me back and yell at me, then.

It's late. I'm tired. Should really go to bed before I screw something else up.
