Glittery polish favorites

fusilli_head asked me what my favorite glittery/shimmery/metallic nail polishes were. There are a bit too many for me to just pick one or two, so I thought I'd make a post about them.

This is probably going to be image heavy, so I'll cut the entry here.

fusilli_head mentioned darker colors, but I'll include some other favorites.

OPI: Warm & Fozzie (2011 Muppets Collection)

I'm wearing this right now! It's a shimmer bronze brown with duochrome that shifts from red orange to gold.

Color Club: Wild and Willing

I just reviewed this polish at Loose Powder. It's a really awesome orange/gold metallic foil!

Hard Candy: Beetle

This polish is a duochrome and is a close dupe of Orly's Space Cadet.

OPI: Mad As A Hatter

Glitter-packed polish. Two to three coats for total coverage.



tip for removing glitter polishes like this: wet cotton with polish remover, place over nail and apply light pressure for 1 min. You should be able to press & pull off cotton and take the polish off with it. Repeat.

Dark brown with gold & silver glitter,

Dark purple jelly with lots of glitter including some gold/red holo flakes.

Dark green jelly base with lots of multi colored glitter and gold flakies.
