amezriFirst day back at work since being out so many days from plague. The office was pretty much a sick ward with people coughing and hacking. Boss went home early -- pretty sure he had what I did. erintheodd a ride home... which was fine except for the "driving error" that happened when I got to the end of the street and tried to turn around. Let's just say I went a bit too fast in wet snow.. with the 4WD on. Yeah. Not so pretty. No damage though! So it's all good.
Even though it was snowing, the roads were generally fine and it was just slushy and not really slippery, so I decided to go tosmashedrecord's anyway. Setup our old wireless router in her house (working so far...), snagged her Farpoint photos (which I'm kind of processing right now), had dinner, and watched some season 2 Buffy. Good times.
Got home about 10:30pm and got snarked at by my mother for staying out so late. *rollseyes* I'm fine. No one died. She complains that she can't believe I whine about being sick for so many days and the first thing I do when I'm not even 100% is go out and have fun. Okay. Wow. First of all... it's not like I did anything more than sit on a couch for 5 hours. And second of all, apparently I was well enough to go to work for 8 hours, wasn't I? Right.
Anyway. Farpoint photos and whatnot should hopefully be up tomorrow. I've got about half of the photos resized and organized now. Need to type up the con report (and if I were smarter, i would have done that already...). For now, I think I'm going to be.
