Am sick. Have been sick since Thursday. Didn't go to work that day or Friday. Today I went to urget care to see a doctor. I got a Z-pack and cough syrup with codine. Don't have strep or an ear infection so I guess that's good.

About 4:30pm I suddenly had a fever of 103.3. I'd already taken 2 ibuprophen so couldn't take any more just yet. Blech. Right now I'm just sitting here sweating and hoping this fever goes down. Have aready had to cancel on smashedrecords for tomorrow because I'm so not gonna make it. I also have a note from the doctor in case I can't drag myself to work Monday.

Sounds like we're in the same boat. Blech. I hate being sick. Sometimes to help with a fever, you can take 1 gram tylenol every 6 hours couple with 400mg of ibuprofen at the same time (offset by about 3 hours). We had to do this when gene had mono (the doctor told us to do this. He had a temp of 104).

It's a coordinated plague set out by the TPTB to mess with the populace. (Mom, me, grandmother, aunt, uncle, cousins, and coworkers are all sick too.)

Feel better! Alex just came down with what appears to be the flu this afternoon. Between my coworkers and him... Ugh, With my luck I'll get this bug in 2 weeks on my birthday. So... I'm sleeping on the couch until his recovery.

Get better! I hope the rest and medicines make you right as rain!

Bob and I have also both been sick, and he was diagnosed with influenza B and had a fever of 104°. Spring can't come soon enough. I hope you feel better.
