Right. So. I did get the Jeep back after work yesterday, but it cost me like $800 -_-; $400 of that was parts, so I can't really fault him for that and he did the tire rotation for free. But still. That is so not what I wanted to be spending money on.

In any case, I was able to go to [livejournal.com profile] queenmaab's without incident. After dinner, she worked on the skirt for my costume and I sewed velcro to my Atlantis patches (she totally had to show me how to do it the right way because I've been doing it wrong...) while we watch the first 4 episodes of Moonlight. The really funny thing is that we discovered some really weird backstory inconsistencies-- that or they just explain it totally wrong. Oh well. I don't really watch the show for it's fabulous writing or lack of.

Stopped by Joann's again after work today and spent an hour in the framing section staring at mattes. Finally picked two so I can get my last two pieces framed. Huzzah!

This is mostly for [livejournal.com profile] thebigfatman, but here's the Torchwood season 2 clip where Jack Harkness meets John Hart. Mmmmmhm.

Jerry O'Connell parodies the Tom Cruise Scientology interview. Makes me laff.

I wish I had other things of interest to write about, but I don't really. So we'll leave it at that. I'm off to go finish sewing my patches, have dinner, then frame the last two pieces for the show.

Which piece did you decide to use as your third?

I decided to go with Paleo, but then I also liked Blackened Heart, so I made that my fourth :)

Neat :)
Paleo was my favorite of the group.
Although I have to admit I had the same reaction that I usually do when looking at artwork. That being, confused and stupid, because I don't "get it", if that makes sense.

I saw your comment about Blackened Heart being "shied away from" (I think that's how you put it), which made me want to look at it more. And now I'm quite intrigued by it. :)

It was interesting that Prospective won the poll.
