All week I've been making a bit of effort to incorporate some gothic lolita-like pieces of clothing into my daily wear. I don't know why I suddenly want to, but it's really kinda funny how much stuff I already own fits the style :-P I took some photos 'cause I know a couple of you wanted to see.

Here's Monday's outfit:



This one's sort of...meh. Super-casual loli, I guess. Threadless shirt over a long sleeveshirt. Plum jacket. Tiered skirt. Striped knee-highs and boots. Now that I look at the photo I'm not really sure I like it at all.


I wore something pretty awesome on Tuesday, but I didn't have a chance to take a photo :-P Black lace long sleeve with a high collar, short sleeve jacket with puffed sleeves over that. Black tiered skirt.

Wednesday's outfit:



I like this one. Sheer dress shirt with flared with corset. I'm also wearing an underskirt to give the brown skirt a bit of poof. Brown knee-highs and dress shoes. Those shoes, by the way, were totally painful.


And today's outfit:



This is a summer dress from Delia's that I put on over a corset shirt (the main body of the shirt is made like a corset and it has hook & eye closures). There's a tiered underskirt. Black knee-highs and boots. Fingerless gloves by Corpse Knit.


I don't know what I'm going to wear tomorrow. Perhaps a Threadless shirt and... a skirt? I dunno.

Wednesday's not the most goth-loli, but I think it is the best outfit :D

The paisley pattern adds a contrast that really accentuates the outfit :)

I applaud you for finding a regular opportunity to air the more interesting segments of your wardrobe. I have a lot of neat things I hardly ever get to wear any more, and put in the bare minimum of effort where my own work appearance is concerned...

Hah! Thanks :) I think people at work might be starting to get a bit weirded out by the outfits, but oh well. It makes the job more interesting.
