I met up with her after work and we headed to PF Chang's for dinner. Neither of us had been there before. The service was pretty good - didn't have to wait too long for drinks or dinner. The waitress was pretty attentive and was checking and and came by to let us know food would be out soon/was on its way. We got moo shu pork and Mongolian beef. Both were good, I'd have to say. And the price was reasonable. The restaurant itself was decorated nicely -- not too gaudy, like how I find Cheesecake Factory. It's got an Asian feel, but it's not too in-your-face. I was pleasantly surprised when the waitress asked if either of us had any food allergies. +200 points there! All in all, good experience and I'd go back there.
After dinner, we just sort of wandered the mall. Christmas Tree Shop is always good for random items you never knew you needed. We popped into a few shoe stores to look for Chucks, but as always, the ones we wanted weren't on sale and the ones on sale weren't ones we wanted. Oh well. Hit FYE for a bit... checked out their clearance DVDs. I got a few, of course! XD The Casanova with Heath Ledger, some Chinese film called Six Strong Guys, an Eddie Izzard DVD (yay, finally!!) and the 10th Anniversary edition of Edward Scissorhands. Good buys!
Brought her back home and we chatted for a bit before everyone was tired and I went home. Nice, relaxing evening.
Tomorrow... I get to go to Best Buy and blow waaaay too much money by picking up Doctor Who season 3! if I could find it for less, I would.. but I won't. The only thing I'm sad about it that the Infinite Quest isn't included. SAD. The UK has released is as a separate DVD, but after shipping and conversion, it would cost me something like $40. Eesh.
Gonna putz around on the internet for a bit then go to bed...
