28 weeks later

Have just come back from 28 Weeks Later. It was... interesting. Pretty much what I expected. seijitataki thought it was pretty horrible. It's sort of annoying when the only people left alive in the movie are the ones you don't really give a rat's ass about. Meh. The ending was sort of shit; hello setup for film three.

So like.. why are people calling this a zombie film? It's not about zombies. I read some idiot paper's review today and the guy said the movie was all right but that he thought it was dumb that the zombies weren't decayed and moved too fast even though they were dead. Okay, hi. They're not dead. If they were dead, they wouldn't have died of starvation.

On the plus side, I liked most of the actors: Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner, Harold Perrineau, Robert Carlyle... okay.. that's.. it. The kids were annoying.

Trailers:
+ Resident Evil: Extinction -- continues to look like some ridiculous Mad Max malarkey.
+ Live Free or Die Hard -- I admit it, this movie doesn't look that terrible. Plus, bonus Justin Long!
+ Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer -- still not convinced this movie will be anything but a load of crap, but after seeing the new trailer, I'm thinking any parts involving the Silver Surfer are going to rule.
