tulip fest

Tulip Fest was all right this year. There was actually no rain! We met up with Annalisa's friend, Ben. Wandered around some of the craft booths before going to the main stage area to wait for Joan Jett. Good show; couldn't see a damn thing, but still managed to get some kick ass photos. I love my new camera. Also snapped a photo of the tail end of a brawl and the mounted cops that came to check it out about 10 minutes too late. Recorded two video clips that came out pretty well. Alexis & Ryan met up with us before the show and Jessica & Tim showed up near the end.

I have a load of photos to resize and upload, but I kind of don't feel like it all right now... so maybe tomorrow. Meh.

Mix covers are done. Gonna have a final listen and then hopefully they will be done. Hooray.

Somehow I never imagined the words "brawl" and "tulip fest" being used in such close proximity...

Me either. And that it took place during the Joan Jett show is even funnier.

Yeah, I imagine I'd find it funnier if I was more familiar with Joan Jett. I mean, yes, of course, I've heard of her, and I'm sure I've heard her music. I just don't know any of her songs off the top of my head.

I wonder how a fight like that starts, anyway.
