sweetwildandmad's last day. *woe* Who am I going to complain to now?!
after work I had to stop at the pet store to pick up some things. I'd complain about dog food being crazy expensive, except for the fact that a giant bag for $28 lasts about a month. So.... yeah.
OMFG. How difficult is it to buy a copy of Blackpool?! Pretty fraking difficult it seems. All the online places that list it say it's backordered. I bought one from the "new & used" thingy at Amazon.co.uk, but the seller is now telling me that they are having a problem getting the item. *facepalm* I go back to Amazon and it looks like they pulled all of their new & used listings for that item.
All the eBay listings for Blackpool are such ridiculously large quantities, I'm sort of doubting that a) they're real DVDs or b) they even have them.
Now, on a tip I checked out HMV.com and they do have Blackpool. Checking a few other items that I suspected were also hard to get, I notice that their status says "on order from supplier" while Blackpool say "ships in 24 hours." So.... I have ordered a copy of Blackpool from HMV. I'm hoping that one of those two sellers are going to actually be able to deliver the damn thing then I can cancel the order for the other. Of course, I could just hope both come in and then i'll have a fraking extra.
This should not be so hard. And I get really determined when something is denied. Arrgh.
I need to go eat food.
