amezriWork was okay today because I spent most of it folding letters, which was great because the time totally flew by. I'm told that there is more folding to be done. Two geniuses questioned me about my folding technique. Um. Whatever. I can do four times as many as you can in an hour. Pfft.
After work, I headed to the mall to check out Build-a-Bear. Shut up. I bought the black canvas shoes and the glasses, but they didn't have the pinstripe suit! *woe* I guess I'll have to order that from the site at some point. It's okay though; my $10 coupon thingy doesn't come in until February so I have time.
I had a look at the Bearemy bear again in the store and that is so the bear I am using for Ten. I think that's what I'll call him. Hm. Maybe put Tenth Doctor on the naming certificate. I have put waaaay too much thought into this.

veracity thinks I should make a Rose Bear to go with the Ten Bear. But which one would she be? Hrm.... Pink Cuddles Teddy is my closest guess. Hah, or maybe Pink Kisses. I'd say Sassy Kitty if the Doctor hadn't seemed so put off by cats after that New Earth experience. In the Poodle Skirt outfit? Hm. But I don't want a Rose. I'd rather have a Reinette.
Looked at some of the dresses for Kaylee Bear and the ballerina outfit is the closest thing to the "Shindig" dress I could find. Meh.
I put much too much thought into this sort of thing. it can't be healthy.
OH HEY, I almost got hit by two cars tonight. Two. The first was when I was parking at the mall. I was waiting for someone to pull out and as they were doing so, I go to pull in, but this asshat in a white sedan SPEEDS INTO THE SPOT. WHAT THE FRACK?! That's the first time I ever honked my horn at someone, because seriously, folks, what the fuck?
The second time was driving into my development. There is a street that merges into the one I have to drive down but they have a fucking STOP SIGN. Well, I see this guy slow down and I'm thinking, "he's going to stop," because HELLO, STOP SIGN. Except he doesn't and if I didn't hit my brakes, he would have crashed into the side of my car. He did slow down to nearly a stop when, you know, he almost HIT ME. The hell is wrong with people today?!
Meh. Whatever.
In other news, Joe Mallozzi's blog made fandomwank. First he makes a comment about fans being lemmings and then tries to clarify it... by calling us a mob of...hysterical, ignorant cretins? Hey, it's his blog, he can say whatever he wants. But it's also a free internet and by having a public blog (and being a producer on a show with a very reactionary fandom), he should except some people to... you know, react. Plus, you know producer of the show -- who else are we going to complain to? The coffee boy?
My mom is leaving for Taiwan tomorrow, which means I need to go to bed soon so I can get up at the crack of dawn to take her to the airport. If I get to work early, I'm going to see if I can leave early too. Maybe go get my hair cut.

We have a Build-A-Bear at the Mall of Georgia (which is like 5-10 minutes away) so I could get it there. If I were to get my Rose now, I'd get LOVE Denim Outfit, which just seems to be like her for some reason. She's always seemed quirky to me.
You'd have to remove the halo, too. *laugh* It's be hard to make one. I'd wait like six months and see if they come up with anymore outfits first.

I need to put in more apps (boy is the a boring part of the job search). You own the one I don't want, and I'll own the Rose one. That way, all that angst will covered and they can lean against walls and sob.

And I'm glad you worked out a solution to the Rose bear issue -- as I was going to post to say, there's no reason whatsover for you to make a Rose bear if you don't want one, because she's clearly an optional accessory for the Doctor even on the show itself. (If Ten-bear needs a companion, I'm sure he'd get on fantastically with Kaylee-bear.) Also, you're right about the kitty making a good Rose were it not for Ten's cat issues -- something about the eyes...
