christmas; work; dw
Dec. 28th, 2006 07:45 pmHello LJ land, how I have missed you! Well, not you *points* but the rest of you, yes.
Christmas was nice and uneventful. We went to Linda's for dinner. It was nice. Afterwards we watched RV (less funny the second time around...) and an episode of Wonderfalls, which I had given to Linda for Christmas. She really liked it, apparently, because after we left she and her son watched a couple more episodes and then he wanted to watch more the next day. Cool.
eretria!! I got your package. I love the photo and the coasters ^^ Thank you so much :D
Oh. So... let's see what I got this year....
+ Pretender season 4 and Stargate SG-1 season 1 from my mom
+ Stargate Atlantis season 2 companion from
athenaktt
+ "Bourne Supremacy" from
urbanfae
+ cube chic from
katkel and
sweetwildandmad
+ a 92-disc CD wallet, "Bob" wobble clock, and specially setup database for my movies from
queenmaab
+ movie tickets from both my mom and Dan
+ a flip out jewelry case from my mom
+ monies!!
+ a picture of Lane from... Lane. hehehe
+ a gift card to FYE from
thebigfatman and
pgnblade
Am I forgetting anything? I hope not.... if so, I'm really sorry, it just means I didn't have the gift in front of me and probably actually put it away like I'm supposed to rather than having it sit around my room like it's not. Supposed to.
I had Tuesday off and I basically sat in front of the TV and knitted all day. I finished one of the four scarves I need to make... so.. yay!
Wednesday was... a lame day on the job, but after work I went to Alexis' to help with some webstuff and then hung out with
thebigfatman and
pgnblade after dinner.
Today's shift was... meh. It went by quickly enough and I spent the last two and a half hours folding letters.
I'm still on my sick-sad Doctor Who/David Tennant kick. I'm devouring media like mad, though I still haven't seen "The Runaway Bride" yet. Have peeked at a few reactions and looked at images and the like, but I think I'm waiting to get sick of the media I have at hand before I sit and watch it. I did snag the Children in Need concert (both the video and the audio). It. Is. Awesome. The stage presentation is amazing, but the BBC Radio version has a longer Q&A.
goddessoftea will be over in a bit. I don't think I've seen her in years. Well, there was that one time she kind of ran in to Departure when I was working there, but that hardly counts.
In one week I will be seeing
shoemaster and
jen_ella! *glee*
I miss being on LJ and the internet. Hopefully after the turn of the new year, I'll be able to get back into it. Life is like crazy hectic right now, which is funny considering I don't really have much of a life. Hm.
