Didn't go to work today. Felt like crap when I woke up -- headache, spins (still kind of disoriented when I turn), generally arghy -- so I called in sick. Probably not the greatest idea since I won't have enough hours for cons and to go to NYC Thursday with my mom to sign paperwork. Meh. I think maybe I'll try to make it up ahead of time next week and take off 4 hours instead of the full 8.

Bought mom a laptop for Christmas. Well, okay, I paid for like a third of it. Got a nice deal on one from dsw_777. It's not like, super highend or anything like the ones I've been looking at, but for the price, it's an awesome deal and will be more than enough for what she needs, which is just e-mail, browsing, and Office stuff.

Have been knitting today. One scarf has taken me all day. I've ripped it apart 3 times already. Blargh.

I think I'm going to bed now.

Sick-knitting is interesting. It's not as bad as drunk-knitting, but you can really make some dumb mistakes and not realize it for inches. Especially on cold medicines. *hugs* I hope you feel better very very soon.
