Still alive. Dragging through my work day. Keeping busy with... stuff.

Monday I went over to [livejournal.com profile] queenmaab's for awhile. Okay, well, first we went to Joann's and Target XD Uhm. I'm not entirely sure what we did Monday.... oh. QM made a tree skirt. Heh.

Tuesday I was at [livejournal.com profile] queenmaab's again. I picked up Chinese food for dinner. Helped her install new curtain rods. Her sister was there working on her quilt. QM worked on her gallery. I also had time to put some protectant on my uber-expensive Aeryn duster so I can actually wear the thing out.

Tonight after dinner, my brother, mom, and I played Sequence. It was fun. I won twice! Woohoo! Also worked on stuff for Tomination (finally). Things that I have not yet done: Watched SGA 3.11, download SGA 3.12, read flist, a load of other stuff.

I haven't read any SGA fic in like... three or four weeks. I'm actually missing it and there should be enough built up that I can pick and choose good ones I want to read rather than suffering through the bad ones because there isn't any new fic. Might do that this weekend... just sit in front of my computer and read XD

And here I thought you didn't like Sequence at [livejournal.com profile] sweetwildandmad and [livejournal.com profile] katkel's boardgame/comfort food night. ;)

I thought the game had to be played so that people had partners. I guess there's variations.

I'm tired.
And slightly sore.
And rambling.
Did I mention the rambling?
Yeah, the rambling.
Don't forget the rambling.
Rambling man.

Oh, I forgot, that is a cool game. :)
I didn't think I was going to like it when they brought it out, but it was fun.
Must have slipped my mind.
You know.
What with all the rambling and such..

Hah! Yes. I hid my enthusiasm.

2-3 players you don't need teams, but more than that and you have to pair up.

Ah, does that mean you were REALLY enjoying Scrabble?

I know I wasn't...

No matter how many times I read this, it's confusing me. Dusters are supposed to wear out. Why do they need "protectant" in order to do so? And they're really not expensive. Ergo, I assume you don't mean a normal duster. Explain?

Hmm.. maybe we mean different things? I bought a handmade leather replica of the duster worn on Farscape. You can see it here.

Oooh... And I mean "wear out" as in to be able to wear the thing on my person without worrying about rain or dirt.

Ah... that's what we call a "coat". Admittedly, a very bizarre one, but a coat nonetheless. What I call a duster is, according to wikipedia, "A dustrag or cloth used to remove dust from furniture or other objects". You can see where the confusion arose.

Ahhhhh. Yes, I see! ^^ Language barriers and all that. I suppose I should have used the term coat instead of duster.
