amezriOn the way to work this morning I drove behind a truck belonging to a casket company. Yeah.
Work today was wacky, wacky, wacky. But amazingly, I did actually get work done. Left at 1:30 for my dentist appointment, which I made in just enough time. After 10 minutes in the waiting room, I ended up waiting in the chair for over an hour to see someone. Dude. WTF. Anyway, alginate was involved -- yay teeth molding! Then I got my teeth cleaned. It was all very unexciting. I have to go back Monday to pick up my night guard... which means I'm going to have to go in to work early again to make up the time. Ugh.
As if I didn't spend enough money today, I just pre-ordered Voltaire's new live CD. Because while his recorded stuff strikes me as sort of blah, the live stuff is so totally awesome. Except that Cantina song. I will totally skip that track every time because... ew.
Paul Goddard (of Farscape) is in a band called Coleman Smith. I just got the CD in the mail. Yeah, okay, it is way over priced, but it's signed. And it's sort of jazzy and reminds me of Anthony Head's CD. Plus, Claudia Black sings on one of the tracks! How could I not? :x
