Apr. 28th, 2006 10:55 pmAfter work yesterday, I headed over to
thebigfatman and
pgnblade's for dinner and a movie. I dig Panera's plain turkey sandwich.
thebigfatman and I watched Cube, which I haven't watched in a while, so I'd forgotten a lot of parts. Which is fine -- it wasn't as gorey as I remember. Great movie though; I loved it before I even knew who David Hewlett was. Next trip over? I bringing Boa vs. Python. *g*
Work today was busy. First of all, the FedEx truck with all the new desks, partitions, and vent panels came three hours early -- so the guys my boss hired to unload it weren't there. He came around and asked for volunteers. Me being.. me... I totally volunteered because it'd be way more fun than doing sites. I think I just really miss manual labor sometimes :x I'd get no exercise otherwise. Anyway, it was a bunch of guys and me XD I'm sure they were all looking at me like, "what the hell is she gonna do?" And I admit, I can't carry that much, but I can pull my own weight. Eight years of retail inventory, yo. So it was kinda amusing the first several trips being able to handle as much as the guys and hauling it up the stairs. I just think it's funny that there were impressed that a girl would help move stuff. That's kinda sad. But hey, it made me feel good. I definitely gave up when they needed to start hauling 200lbs+ triple panels up the stairs. But yeah. Yay physical activity! Anyway, after that it was a rush to get everything done and then it was time to go home!
Of course, I get home and I don't feel like doing anything. I haven't checked the flist and I've barely checked e-mail. Meh. Just feeling arghy. Haven't even made dinner yet. In fact, I've been chowing down on Milano cookies and jelly beans. Healthy, I know. I could totally use someone who'd cook for me and stuff XD
Was a totally lazy cow and plopped down on the couch to watch Boa vs. Python (omg, gratuitous nekkidness! geeks with guns! bad sex jokes!) and The Other Sister, which is a pretty good movie on its own, plus there is bonus Flanigan, who is beyond adorable.
Hmm... and now I'm going to watch Touching Evil with
shoemaster.
cassiejamie, where are you? :x have not talked to you in a while. 'sup, dude?
