Eh. i was gonna edit my last post, but then I didn't know where to put it so I didn't spoil people reading/commenting on the other stuff, so, hey, new entry.

This cut should be vague enough, but still of interest for those who are not SG1 fans or don't care about spoilers....



According to Ausiello: OK, remember me telling you how producers were looking for a "name" actress to play the recurring role of Adria, the rapidly aging daughter of Vala (Claudia Black)? Well, the name they found was Morena Baccarin, whom Firefly/Serenity fans know as prostitute, er, companion Inara.

Now, yeah, that's rather cool -- the part about Morena being on the show -- but um. Morena playing Vala's daughter?! Please, please, please don't make this all weird and freaky. Like Xena's daughter, Eve. Like Angel's son, Connor.

Weh? I knew her daughter would age at an accelerated rate but I thought she'd still be a kid -- around ten years old. That sounds odd to me. *crosses fingers that they pull it off somehow*

I haven't read any SG1 spoilers for the comigns eason and I've been generally avoiding them for SGA, so this left me a bit baffled. I hope they can pull it off and not have it be too hokey :x
