computer; laundry; sga

amezriThis morning I decided to get off my butt and start getting Schrodinger up to snuff. I started transfering files and have installed Quicktime, BitLord, and will be installing Nero, DivX, XviD, and whatever else I need. I got my MP3s and images transfered off the backup disks and my desktop is no longer a boring default.
Of course, it's going to take me a while to get used to all the quirks of the new system. Like... apparently dragging & dropping files into Quicktime make the computer freak out. And Norton Firewall has to be turned off for me to use Get File until I can figure out what setting needs to be tweaked. Blargh. I really, really hate setting up new systems. This is why I've been stubbornly using the same setup for over 5 years.
Edit: I fixed the firewall. Just had to add a port to the rules, which I now vaguley recall doing before. Heh.
In the meantime, I'm also doing laundry and hopefully getting all my winter clothes out... before winter is over.

Glargh. I have to work tomorrow and deal with inventory and crap. Lovely.
