Last night we went to Hiro's for hibachi. Always fun. Sometime during, we decided to go to the movies to see Goblet of Fire. Erm. Yeah. I need to see it again as I never read the book so some stuff kind of makes no sense to me. Cho is cute. So is Cedric.

King Kong trailer was really awesome. I can't wait to see that movie. I'll probably also be buying the production diaries. Heh. Peter Jackson owns me. The new Chronicles of Narnia trailer makes me really excited for the film. I should read the books again.

In the lobby, there was a cardboard standee for the Bloodrayne movie. I just checked out the trailer and... uhm. It hurts me. The announcer sounds like the same guy who announced those Action Pack series.

Dear LJ: Please send me comment notifications. Kthanx.

Meh. Okay. Must get ready for work now.

I checked out the Bloodrayne trailer after I read how bad it was on Aint It Cool News. com and it just seemed to prove the reviewers right. This one looks mighty painful...

Yeah... it's sad that the student film I made (called Bloodreign) looks uh... more entertaining than that trailer XD

It does look painful, it does--but I will see it anyway because Michelle Rodriguez and Meatloaf! How can I skip it?

(Okay, okay, I may not see it in the theaters--but then again, I might.)

It will be bad, terrible, not worth a cheap theater price--but Michelle and Meatloaf. *sigh*

I know! That's pretty close to my reasoning -- Michelle Rodriguez and it's a vampire movie!

Will probably wait for the $5 budget DVD XD

Strange... do all cinemas all over the world play the same trailers for particular films, or is it just coincidence that I too saw Goblet of Fire last night and there were trailers for Narnia and King Kong?

Just coincidence, since those are the two big movies about to come out. (What really annoyed me was seeing the exact same series of trailers all three times I saw GoF -- understandable in the first two viewings since they were at the same theater, but I was peeved when I was watching at a theater several counties away last weekend. Maybe both theaters were part of the same chain and hence got the same trailers package with the film...)

I just got the notice for this comment...

Sometime studios package trailers with the movies as crosspromotion, but usually the theaters get trailers for movies they will be showing soon.

Why must they always remake the classics?
