Work. Blah. Need to get my schedule for tomorrow so I can figure out if I can meet with [livejournal.com profile] queenmaab tomorrow night for crafty shopping and Corpse Bride! Hey, maybe I'll actually have a schedule for next week. Ha!

Last night, my right arm broke out in hives and I'm not sure what that was about. It's probably not perfume since I haven't put anything on in, oh, 10 hours and it was on the other arm anyway in a tiny spot. But yes, my right forearm is all bumpy, but not itchy. It didn't help that I was in super-cranky bitch mode. Meh.

[livejournal.com profile] harlequin_sga has really taken off. I'm scared XD Never have I been a mod of a community or fansite of any kind with a member list that huge. And the watchlist? Damn, people. I really need to book ass on that site layout so I can give the necessary bits to [livejournal.com profile] tylergrrls for the database whosit.

From jamesmarsters.com:

It has come to our attention that no matter how many times you ask nicely, someone insists on audio taping or video taping James at conventions and concerts and then posting it on the internet. As a result we have unfortunately had to ban this person from partaking in any future events. We don't make this request lightly; it is to protect the artist. One bad apple won't spoil it for all but please don't help support their unethical actions. Thank you.

I just have to roll my eyes and think, "oh, please," because a crappy cam'ed performance will totally devalue you. I get the need to protect copyright, I totally do. But seriously? Unless you are planning on providing quality DVDs of these performances? Get over it. Is that wrong of me? Maybe. I just never really understood what the fuss over taping con appearances or shows was. If you're uncomfortable saying something that might be recorded, maybe saying it in front of a couple hundred people who are going to write about it in detail isn't such a good idea either.

This comment has nothing to do with the post it supposedly refers to, but oh well. Bizarre, how you lose touch with people online and don't speak to them for years, and then follow a huge selection of random links in the Neverending Decent Slash Hunt, and come across them again. Not that I'll be remembered, I don't suppose. But this must be the same Amezri I used to know - how many of them can there be in the world?

I'm struggling to remember, but very probably from when I was fourteen and rebellious and joined the Bringers, where we talked a lot about stopping websites from being removed but never actually got anything done. Didn't you have something to do with the website upkeep?

Ah ha! I thought that might be it :) Yep, that was me. And there was a fair bit of wankery around the whole site design thing as well with another designer person. Do you remember Oz? He's around still as well. *points to commetns above*

How've you been?

Uhm. And of course not I'm trying to guess who you might be... Maya, Ripper & Kay are the only Bringers I remember the names of, besides the two I still talk to.

How could I possibly forget Oz? Came across a photo of him just the other day while dismantling my entire worldly possessions in preparation for moving to the other end of the country. Which I think nicely answers the question of how I've been. As for who I am, I'll give you two hints. English weirdo, and co-owner of a chainsaw, for some reason that escapes me now.

Gah, sorry, I thought i'd replied to this and guess I didn't...

Have you moved to the other side of the country yet? *G*

I'm getting forgetful in my old age and I can't really remember who was the English weirdo with the chainsaw XD

I have moved, and am so far enjoying everything except the hills, of which there are far too many. As for the chainsaw, technically it was Adam in Newcastle who had custody of it. Can't remember what we named it though. Mr something-or-other. And I'm Bridget, by the way. Ask Oz if you don't remember me, because he ought to.
