Uhm. Now that I've had dinner, I can take a moment and talk about my day with out turning into a pile of squee.

Left about an hour early to hit Best Buy where I snagged myself a copy of Lost season 1 with bonus disk! Eee! They were having an SG1 box set sale, but even at 25% off, I couldn't really afford anything. Headed to work. Was actually there on time. Go, me! Work sucked. Spent the whole day wanting to leave, omg. But, Liz brought me a birthday present! A cute card and some chocolates. <3 That was very nice of her and totally not necessary.

Closing was easy tonight. I was the only one there, so it was done in about 10 minutes. W00t! Balanced and everything. After work, I headed to CompUSA to return the hi-gain antennas, which did absolute shit for my wireless signal. The money from that return basically wnet to my Lost purchase, so yay!

Came home at a pretty decent time and got my mail. OMG. First of all. My frelling insurance didn't cover all of my last visit or something and I somehow owe my doctor $20. Glargh. Second of all... lilorphanannie - I got the CDs and the printed certificate! Thank you!! You're awesome ^^ I can't wait to listen to them!

Joe Flanigan sent me mail! OMGLOVEHIM. Okay, yeah, it's a form letter. And he didn't even mention the art print or the artbook. You know what, though? I kinda don't care. Because Joe Flanigan sent me mail! And a signed photo! Of all the cast members I sent packages to, I felt he was the least likely to get back to me. No idea why and it's not like I think he doesn't like fans, but I figured he'd be too busy. But. Look! Mail! *flails again* Yes, I'm a dork. But this totally made my week. So shut it.

And if that wasn't geeky enough, I've finally got pictures of my Jeep Cherokee (no more death trap Bronco! yay!) with Stargate decals.



Hey, it's amusing to me. And I'm proud to have them on my car :-P

In other dorkish news, I've found two more tracks that have to go on Rodney's mix: Falco's "Rock Me Amadeus" and.. something by They Might Be Giants. "Istanbul" or "Don't Let's Start," not sure which.

Mine, I just paid 20 $ extra to get the number plates for my car which now read MZ SG1 007. Don't ask about the 007 that was the only number available to go with one *g*

And sadly I couldn't get three letters to do SGA but its the thought that counts *g*
