left this morning after some breakfast and a quick stop at the airport where I showed her our shop and then the gallery upstairs. I think she was headed to the Shaker Museum before going to PA. Hope you've made it to all your stops! :D

Work was pretty blah today. Not as bad as it has been the last couple weeks, since I wasn't doing inventory, but yeah... I still couldn't wait to get out. This morning when I went in, the boss asked how I was feeling today and I said, honestly, "I'm tired." And she goes, "Oh, don't start." Uhm. WTF? *sigh* I don't know if she thinks I'm pretending or what, but I drag my ass to work every day when I'm part time and I feel like shit and it's possible I'm more productive than any person in my condition should be. Argh. Whatever. I grow more frustrated with that place every day.

The Build Your Own Lightsaber kit I ordered for my brother's birthday arrived today. It's pretty amusing... and completely plastic. Meh. Whatever. Now, I was all excited to get them because they were supposed to include a training DVD.. which seems to be missing, so I've e-mailed Entertainment Earth to ask that's about. In the meantime, I'm leaving my set unopened in case I get bored with just the one we already have. That way, at least I can sell the unopened one.

I downloaded James Marster's album, Civilized Man, a few days ago and finally just listened to some tracks. I've know he wasn't a good musician for some time - "Valerie" was an all right track and some of his covers are good enough. However, he's still pretty talent-less and has some sort of rock god complex that has him fronting a band of teenagers. Uh. Anyway. While Ghost of the Robot was an decent garage band, his solo album is a flaming carwreck. I have no idea who produced this thing, but... wow... I am so glad I didn't pay $30 or whatever to actually buy this piece of crap.

In other news:

+ Jen Garner & Ben Affleck were married yesterday. Huh. I actually have no issues at all with this Jen/Ben combo as Ben Affleck is now acting like a normal human being and not some weird street pimp. This is good.

+ Joss Whedon tells SHH that one of the Serenity cast read for a role in X3. If she gets the role, as much as I like the actress, I'm not sure I can see her as the character. Still, it would be better than who has been rumored.

Going to go beta some fic now. Then gonna go read a bunch. Whee! :D

p.s. i think I'm getting carpal tunnel in my right wrist again. stupid desk arrangement and poor posture.

Oh wow, really? I was so close to buying it out of some weird loyalty to James and I'm really glad I didn't.

Yeah, I had that thought, too; thankfully I didn't have any money at the time. I think it's just way too overproduced and he's singing out of his ability and range. He's trying way too hard to be cool.

I uploaded a song for you. Don't thank me until after you've listened to it XD
