Item 2: My father is coming home to collect his mail and checks, but is claiming that he's coming home to celebrate my brother's birthday. He said he was coming home this morning, but just now called to say he was doing something in the city and won't be back until later tonight. Uh huh. Glad to know your son is such a priority.
Item 3: I'm working on layouts. OMG.
Item 4: I want a laptop. Maybe a Dell Inspiron 1150.because I think that's the one Rodney has.
Item 5: I need to make new icons.
Item 6: The new Coldplay CD is excellent.

Date: 2005-06-11 03:57 pm (UTC)4 - Eek! Stay away from Dell! Not just because they're the competition ;) but I've heard BBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDD stuff about them. Like, replacement parts are hard to get for them. If you want I can get one of the Sales-y type people at work to sus out some good stuff for you? Just for reference... oh, and IBM Lenovo - fear not (still the same quality as when it was just plain old IBM)

Date: 2005-06-11 04:02 pm (UTC)4 - Heh. I've only ever had good experiences with Dell. Our entire campus was Dell and we hardly ever had any issues with them. Anyway, if I can get this one, it's around $400, an older model, but still has DVD burner! Eeee! It's mostly for e-mail and stuff anyway.
