sw:e3; serenity!
Jun. 9th, 2005 10:52 pmJust got back from Episode III. The cheese factor is liekwhoa. And the dialog burns. At least there was a Narnia trailer this time. The last quarter of the movie is still pretty decent though and I spotted Wayne Pygram! Which makes me think of the comment he made at Creation Con that Scorpius is Picard on crack. Which then reminds me of the chat I had with him about coeliac and candida. Very strange discussion to have at the coktail party, let me tell you. Heh.
Okay, seriously? I've never hated eBayers more than I do now. Not that I had a chance to get Serenity tickets to begin with -- what with the theater telling me they didn't know this morning and then Fandango not even having them -- but there are loads of tickets on auction on eBay. ARGH. WTF?! Don't be an asshole. Let fans get the tickets, you jerkoffs.
Needless to say, I didn't get Serenity tickets. Because the Crossgates staff is completely inept and just... ARGH. And. ARGH!!! Fuck. It. I think I'm just going to give up and see it in September with all the other normals. *sniffle* Maybe if we get a celebrity guest, I'll get to see them at the airport the next day (yeah, not really counting on it). Or, if they have another screening in Albany, I'm calling in sick to sit in front of the comptuer all day in order to get tickets. Yes.
queenmaab - Firefly marathon to make me feel better? Or even just a couple of episodes and then "Dune." ... please? *g* I'll bring the food this time! :D

Date: 2005-06-10 04:41 pm (UTC)that sounds good! dan has two baseball games that day, one at 12, i think, and one later? not sure. but yeah, he won't be around too much. i'll check the diet sheet when i get home tonight and let you know. it's actually not bad - i mean, we're having shrimp tonight! it's more of a nutrition kind of thing - and it has you eating certain things certain days and stuff. shouldn't be too bad, foodwise. :)
Yay Dune! Yay Firefly!
