Twenty-three feels just like twenty-two
Sep. 3rd, 2004 10:16 pmFirst, I want to thank everyone for their birthday wishes ^_^ *hugs all*
I spent the majority of the day sorting through most of my stuff. Sat in the living room and watch The Transporter while I went through papers and cards and things. Jason Statham rocks me. The half-American, half-British accent was a bit odd, but the fight sequences were awesome. I never knew he had a martial arts background. All of his moves were really tight and well done... and the driving? Dude. I watched the film two times in a row - once without commentary and once with. The US soundtrack sucks... but the UK soundtrack is completely different and has all the cool techno driving tracks. *wants it*
queenmaab! I got the gift card in the mail. Thank you!! *glomps* This will be going towards the purchase of.. some DVD set. I haven't decided which ^_^* You rock.
Mom came home a little early and brought me roses and a strawberry shortcake... cake. It looks yummy. We went to Crossgates and had something quick to eat before we saw The Princess Diaries 2. It's cute and sappy... and I liked it enough that I'm thinking I might own the DVD. Erm.. used, of course, because I'll never pay full retail for that sort of cheese-tastic fluff. Callum! Was so un-Mason-like in this film, except for a very tiny bit near the end where Callum actually got to act. The rest of the time he just stood around looking stiff and out of place. You'd think the poor guy couldn't act or something. The ending was sufficiently predictable and sappy, which was okay with me today.
After mom gets off the phone, I think we're going to have some cake and watch Kill Bill 2.
On an unrelated note - is anyone noticing anything really weird with the timecodes on comments? I just left someone a comment and the time/date says it's 8am tomorrow. Uh...wha?

crzydemona: 98% of the teenage population does/has tried pot. If you're part of the 2% who hasn't, copy this in your journal.
I've never tried pot, but I've hung out with a lot of people who have. Of all the drugs people could be doing these days, I'd actually rather they smoke weed than do crack or something that's way harsher.
