election day delay?
Jul. 12th, 2004 12:01 amWell, can't say I didn't see this coming:
Officials discuss how to delay Election Day. Newsweek said the discussions about whether the November 2 election could be postponed started with a recent letter to Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge from DeForest Soaries Jr., chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.
Homeland Security, my ass. They're more like the Department of Fear and Oppression.
Remember when Bush made that comment about not planning to lose the election? I'm scared.
Also from the article: Ridge warned Thursday that al Qaeda terrorists were planning a large-scale attack on the United States "in an effort to disrupt the democratic process."
Gee. I wonder if maybe this could be it?!?!

Didn't we discuss about 6 months ago how we thought something like this would happen?
I hate being right.
Do you hate being right?
Bye bye, democracy.
